During our travel to Nepal we made maximum use of the airline lounges in Bali and Bangkok. Penny’s frequent business travel really paid off. This is a "slumber room" at the huge Thai Airways lounge in the new Bangkok airport.

Penny, I noticed that you are still wearing that yellow string around your wrist from that welcoming ceremony in Laos. Any special meaning? Will you fall off the end of the earth if you take it off?!

Yup, I still have the yellow string on even now in India. It is special as it was blessed by the village elder. I want to make sure that we keep on having good luck on this trip! Now I also have a string around my neck that was blessed by a 91 year old Lama on the trek in Nepal.
