Joseph

By the time you read this we will be some days into a week-long tour of the Gobi desert.  We will be posting about that and put up another batch of photos when we get back.  Our next update of the blog will be on October 11th or 12th.

Bonus photo:  We see lots of confusing signs around here.  Here’s one of my favorites from a street near the embassy section of Beijing.

Hey guys! Tatiana forwarded me your blog. So tell me, which of you is moonlighting for national geographic? The pictures are phenomenal- so documentary-style and so descriptive, and the writing is awesome as well, I only wish Joseph could have been as eloquent in his New York market documents. Oh yeah, did I mention I now have the envious job of straightening out NY? The sign above is hilarious. Asia is the best, totally random. And if you can manage to point out something amiss to a local, they just laugh! They don’t care! The website is fabulous, I wish I’d been so organized when I travelled. So congrats to you two on your engagement! It sounds like you guys are having the time of your lives, which is good, since you’re on the trip of a lifetime. Have fun, I’ll check up on you later!
    Safe travels,
    Lindsey

    Hi Lindsey!
Congratulations on getting the NY job; it’ll be tough, but you’re the best person for the job. BTW – did you read the NY Market Overview, it’s a great piece of writing! πŸ™‚
Penny and I are having a great time. We have a laptop now so doing this blog has gotten a lot easier. We love reading everyone’s comments and being able to stay in touch this way.
